Proposed improvements to the Uber Carshare borrower experience.

Based on qualitative feedback that had been gathered during my time at Uber Carshare, I was working on implementing a number of UX and UI improvements to the borrower search experience.

Uber made the decision to cease operations of Uber Carshare, unfortunately these improvements were not released to the public prior to Uber Carshare closure.

UX/UI improvements include:

• updated layout allows the map to be accessible despite scrolling

• mandatory trip dates/time for improved pricing transparency

• additional filter options allow users to find the right car

• car listings have multiple images

• easier to understand car rating - now represented as a percentage

• price breakdown is available on search

• centralised ‘Favourites’ section

• updated UI to closer align to Uber’s branding
